Testimonials - Corriente took up the slack!
Back to list
I’m very late posting but I have a beautiful Corriente Ranch Roper that was a gift. I think it’s a 314A model. Anyway upon receiving the saddle from the shipping company that will remain nameless that drives the big brown truck, my saddle was carried to the door in hand by the driver with a torn up box in tow. The driver said “oh it was like that when I loaded it”. First off he was delivering in a pickup truck which should have never happened, secondly I knew the driver was lying because no company would send a torn box with a label and a loose saddle. After receiving the saddle and removing the horn protector I saw damage that looked like the result of a hand grinder on the front of the horn. It actually had to have blown out and skidded upside down on the highway. Called Corriente and gave them some information. The owner called me back quickly and said to ship the saddle to them and they would let me know what the shipping company said. A few days later and the owner called me and said they weren’t waiting on the shipper that he was sending me another brand new saddle. He did exactly that. I have to say they make a wonderful heavy duty product. Their saddles are very high quality. I can’t say enough about this company and the family that owns it. They have wonderful customer service and treat you just like a family owned company should. Oh and the 314A with pencil roll high back cantle rides great for my ol bad back. Ive had a spinal surgery and even my Circle Y association roper can’t compare to the comfort of this saddle. It’s made of high quality leather and nice hardware. Thanks Corriente for the customer service but mostly thank you for building a high quality product in today’s markets and NOT falling into that temptation of making low quality cheap imitations. Your saddles are great!
